John Mangan lives about 25 miles north of me in Cornelius, NC. Didn't know him.

A coworker and 4 of her family members were injured in this crash. No idea of there status other than "serous injuries". Sad indeed.

I'm not usually one to potificate or whine... but these guys are doing things they WANT to do. I have to Laud them. They're folk heroes.

...is there a better way to go out?!? I can't think of one. If there's a walker, crutches or motorized wheelchair to equal a pylon racer I'd like to know about it!

May they all find what they seek.

The spectators are a different story.
