LOOKING FOR THE CORRECT NEEDLES TO GET STARTED. DOING GOOD PARTS TIPPLE CARB SET UP AND HAVE A SET OF 1971 CARBS. I FOUND OUT THAT ONE OF MY PISTONS DOESN'T HAVE THE ADJUSTABLE NEEDLES BUT I HAVE A SET OF 3 ADJUSTABLES FROM A MGB FOR A COMPLETE MATCH SET. HOWEVER THE B NEEDLES ARE ABOUT 5K THICKER. I INCREASED COMPRESSION TO 10:1 AND HAVE MILED STREET CAM, SO I BELIEVE I WOULD WANT TO GET MORE FUEL INTO THE CYLINDERS. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

I am hoping someone who has this setup will answer your question.
Since I have not get a TR6 my answer must be taken as a suggestion only!
My guess is that the stock needle for a TR6 would be a good place to start, because you are still only filling one cylinder at a time, whether you use 2 carbs each filling 3 cylinders or the other way round.
The range of adjustment at the bottom of the carb should allow you to compensate for the mild cam.
Again, I am guessing; someone who KNOWS would better answer your question.
Simon, (trying to separate facts from opinions.)

Why not simply ask the expert himself, Richard Good?
