Hello all,
I'm progressing on the restoration of a 66 TR4A solid axle car. Last couple weeks I've been doing body work on all the panels. The PO welded up the holes for the TR4A name plate (emblem), and did such a good job I can't find them. (I was able to find all the Triumph letter holes). Could some kind sole take a couple measurements for me so that I might drill new holes? A measurement from the side and the bottom to a specific point on the emblem would really help. I hate to guess. TIA

Yeah, my car had a replacement boot lid and the DPO wasn't attentive so the body shop did not fill in the "IRS" holes. I've had ours of enjoyment looking for something to go there and explaining to every TR4A expert in the universe that one at the car shows. I use a magnetic country of origin oval now.

I'll get the measurements for the "TR4A" for you over the weekend if someone else does not beat me to it.

I measured mine but verification from another '4A owner would probably be best before you start drilling holes :yesnod:

6 7/16 in. from the bottom of boot lid to the bottom of 'T'. 3 7/16 from the right side of the boot lid to the right bottom of the letter 'A'.
