So this represents about 3.5 hours of going at it. Got the passenger side on off, but the driver side isn't quite there yet (mainly because my cutting disk started to wobble on it's mount and I had visions of it launching itself into my chest).

Look what I found under the passenger side floor...not good.

That white stuff is bondo.

I think it's a good idea to do one side at a time. The other side will help hold the car inline. The shell of the car is going to be weak from the rust.

Keep up the good work!
I can not believe I am able to view this. I'm in the Airstream in a park just outside of Jackson Wyo during a driving Thunderstorm. Do not know what access I'll have on the rest of the trip but it is nice to surf the net in some far off places. I've promised myself that I would leave the trappings of modern civilization behind when we get backpacking, but it is nice to have them when you can not get out into the wild country.
