...cross post with 6-Pack

My buddy Al kind of let the "cat out of the bag" when he referenced the CVJs in another thread but that's OK........Al helps me a LOT! Anyhow, I was all set to order Goodparts' upgraded axles and hubs when Richard mentioned in an email to me that he now has CVJs back in stock, redesigned and at a better price than before. So, I cleaned out the old Paypal account from the latest eBay selling spree and the UPS man dropped them off today. I just did a quickie write up with pictures on my site (https://tr6.danielsonfamily.org/CVJ.htm) and I'll do a lot more when I get around to installing them later this month or in January. On my site you'll also see an excerpt from Richard's email about the construction of these CVJs. So check out the site and here's one picture.

Bob,

What is the definition of "better pricing"?

Those really do look good.

Sorry.... the pricing was in an excerpt from Richard's email that I posted to my site. (https://tr6.danielsonfamily.org/CVJ.htm)

He explained the changes from the previous CVJs and quoted $1500 for 5 bolt Nissan R200 and $1600 for stock TR6 diff or 6 bolt Nissan diff. That's for a set of CVJs.

BobbyD- Pardon my ignorance, please.

They are beautiful machined components.
BUT............what ARE they and do I do
need them for the Crypt Car?

They look kinda familiar. Rear suspension pieces?

thanks,

dale

Dale.........none of us "need" them but...... the only unknowns on my car are the rear hubs and rear axles. Pretty much everything else has been upgraded or rebuilt. These are to replace the rear hubs and old sliding axles. Think of them as a more modern axle. Mechanically, I think I've reached the end of the line until the new stuff breaks or wears out.

I do know that they are good up to 140mph and are worth a few ponies at the rear wheels on a TR6 :driving:

Oh my goodness!
I am every so happy when the Crypt Car attains
70 mph and does not blow up or shake to pieces.
