I might go if my 6 is back on the road - it'll need a shakedown cruise before the trip to Tn.

Let's see........there's you, me, John Mitchell and Al Gary. I'm trying to get fellow Wallywerld resident Ivan Bailey to go too. Of course, this is all dependent on Storm Hanna passing through here quickly.

There a few of us from Boston Metrowest who may make the trip. What is a typical turnout 20-30 cars...more? Just Curious.

Is there a Pub in the vicinity?

Thanks

Typical turnout is usually at least twice that number. They get lots of MGs and Jags too. Last year a bunch of Metropolitans pulled in too.

Isn't there a pub everywhere? The park is right off of the main drag so there's a number of food & beverage places around.

Paul........no trunk shots at this show! Beautiful day, the field was actually dry considering the 5" of rain that fell overnight and Bill Kopf, Ivan Bailey and I drove up and back together. Great drive except for about 5 miles of 91 that the road eater had visited and wasn't re-paved yet. But it gave the suspension a good work out.

Here's some pictures from the show

No, just the remnants of show clean up items, folding chairs and stuff that I never got around to taking out since the CT show. Bob posted of picture of it and made fun of my "hidden" sloppiness.

I think that was the best show ever for Wickham Park. The weather was just perfect. Great cars in all classes.

Next stop, Stowe, VT. It will rain I am sure, as it does every year.

Sigh, I will be there next year along with Brits by the Sea.
I'm in the final stretch of putting the frame back together before the tub goes back on.

You stopped by, got a picture of my car and didn't say hi? I'm the mimosa one, Stan Foster has the red one and that's Dr. Formica's supercharged burgundy one at the far left. He has a supercharged logo under his union jack so I went out today and had this made up:

Bob - What did you use to make that?

BobbyD
09-11-2008, 06:18 PM
Don,
I stopped by a local sign shop and they made it up in about an hour. The font is 1/2" high and 6" long and slants to match the TR6 logo slant i.e. one side forward and the other side backward. I did 12 degrees but 15 degrees might even look better. The first shop plugged the 1/2 x 6" size into their program and quoted me $25 for one pair. The 2nd shop looked at what I wanted and charged me $7 for two pair. So shop around. They could do it in any color, font style and even with a drop shadow. It's just a transfer that sticks on much like the existing TR6 logo.

You know I'm getting that done for mine.

Bob, where is that shop and who did you talk to there? I'll stop next week.

"TRIPLE STROMBERGS"

"TRI-POWER"

"STUPID LOOKING BANANA"

Any better ideas to fill the space without making the letters any higher?

Thanks Bob, I want to change my rear TR8 to TR7 V8. Some guys across the pond have it and I think it is more fitting.

This guy is very reasonable and will do work while you wait.
He did the graphics on the back window of my jeep.
