Thanks to Tony Barnhill, the Crypt Car now has a
brand spanking new fuel tank without layers and
layers of rust to clog my carb bowls.

Now, install another new set of fuel delivery hoses,
blow the lines clean, add some high test and begin
the diagnostics on why the car is broken down.

Thanks again Tony!!!
Here's a photo of the great fuel tank Tony got for me.

BLARGH!!!!!!!!!

A false alarm it seems.

The outflow copper pipe was damaged during install.

I've pulled the tank back out to make repairs.
Enough sweaty toil for this old man today.

I'm back to square one again.
I'll give it a go another day.

I haven't given up hope, yet.
But mighty close to it..

regards,

d

Is that a PI tank Tinster? Where does it come from? Does it have a baffle on the drivers side, you can look with a flashlite and see. Thanks, and good luck.

This is a really decent plot for a movie about torture and human survival.

Well look at it this way Dale, you'll be an expert when it comes time to re-install it.

Good Morn`n Dale,

Hey; The new tank looks great.

Personally I would paint it black as Orig. before re-installing it.

Best Wishes,

Russ

Dale, you have come far too far now to EVER give up!
And I know you won't, though I can appreciate how you can feel that you want to. Keep on hanging in there! You've got a planet of support here.

Tony- What did you do to the tank to prepare to ship it. I might be sending my tank to CA for finishing and this was on my mind.

Don - that's a brand new tank shipped to Dale exactly as I received it from my supplier.

Shipping an old tank is something else....but, why are you sending it to CA? Why not just have it done by a radiator shop there in Seattle?

Don,

The new tank arrived in rectangular cardboard box of the tank dimensions.
That box was placed inside a box about 2" larger in all dimensions
and then stuffed with thzt white plastic pop corny stuff.
