There is one on eBay (https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=280253614303 ) out of Boiling Springs PA. Needs restoration...

Unreal at that price! Unfortunatly my budget will only handle 1 Lotus.

Needs restoration...

Just a little.... :jester: :yesnod:

But what a nice project it could be... if I didn't already have three others ongoing, and going, and going.... :frown:

Don't forget to check out the yellow '67 Elan S3 FHC on ebay too. I haven't seen one of those in many years!

Nearly every BCF post I've made has been as I SIT on a '67 S3 drophead.

I know what you mean... The Fixed heads are rare. I like the DHC but here in FL, I think the FHC would be more convenient especially with our pop-up sea breeze showers in the afternoon!

Doc, wouldn't it be more comfy to sit IN the car, rather than ON it?

My arms wouldn't reach th' keyboard then. But I COULD make vroom-vroom noises...

Ya need a wireless keyboard, then, Doc... or maybe just mount the GPU in the S-3, put the monitor in place of the windscreen, and a keyboard and mouse instead of a steering wheel... maybe set up the clutch as left click, gas as right click, and the gear lever as a joystick?

niiiice, Drerw.

If I were to start spendin' time on THAT project I'd be more inclined to get it back into driveable condition. :wall:

That's only 4 hours from me...

Think of what I could save on shipping! :jester:

I'll trade a unstarted MGA project and a stalled LaDawri resto fur it :yesnod:
And I'll even throw in a sputtering Corolla

Well, back to the Lotus Elite. It's now at $22,000, still a good deal.

Someone with ambition will get a great car. And likely a bargain, too.

If the reserve is believeable/reasonable.
