Come on you guys! Go beat the bushes and get your Sunbean friends to Join the BCF! Mini and Sunbeam are two of our slower forums, but that can change if you all will go get your friends to join! Tell them to join www.Sunbeamforum.com (https://www.Sunbeamforum.com) or www.Tigerforum.com (https://www.tigerforum.com) Either one will get them here in addition to the usual www.Britishcarforum.com (https://www.Britishcarforum.com)

Cheers,
Basil

In an effort to show solidarity to my fellow/gal Brit-'Beamers, I'll do my best to contribute some stuff to this forum....here's some:

1. My Dad worked for Rootes when we lived in the UK
2.My first car was a Hillman Minx that we drove in the woods at age 15(no license or insurance..shared it with a friend)
3.I owned a Plymouth Cricket (!?!)
4.I own a Sunbeam blender...sorry! couldn't resist!...I promise not to post pictures of *it* in the gallery!
5. here's a snap I took at last year's Britfest in NJ:

Others have any Rootes/Sunbeam "connections"?

My Sunbeam blender seems to have the motor hidden towards the rear....probably more of an "Imp" model....

Anyway, here's my *dream* blender.

My father used to have a Super Minx, (with column change) and a Hunter, both of which I enjoyed driving. my only connection with Rootes Group I'm afraid....
