I did a few crazy things, back in day, like most guys.
This is one of the craziest stunts I have ever seen.

These folks just gotta be Californians or Brits!!
Anyone ever try something this stupid? If so-What??

I'm not into that stuff, but we had one set up in Daytona and there's one just outside Disney World. They're both a lot bigger than that one is - and always have people wanting to get slung around in them. As I recall the one in Daytona wasn't cheap either.

Nah, not Brits...... The landscape and the building's architecture is all wrong. I would suggest Colorado, or one of the western states.

Thought about it at around 12 years old, but then reconsidered when I contemplated the landing! Same thing with jumping off of the barn roof with moms umbrella. I did make a sail for my bicycle and it worked well, as long as the wind was blowing in the direction you wanted to go. I might add, mighty tough coming back home though!

Definitely not us. We would have formed a committee to study whether it was feasible to form a working group to analyze it from every angle and then report back to the committee. The committee would consist of various "Hooray Henry's" and other chinless wonders who would yet again be surprised that someone else had done it first. Another flashback as to why I left the olde country and came to a land of opportunity. OK, I feel better now.

That said, no way would you get me into that, although SWMBO would probably try it.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif,
Brits tend to be a bit more classic in their flinging ammo, some use an Austin Maestro and a Trebuchet.... (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wVADKznOhY)
Not that there's a shortage of diseased cows to hurl.

I think the trebuchet is an elegant device!
