A while back I seem to remember someone posting about these tires for a TR6. Does anyone care to comment about the quality, size or performance? I have a great set of tires on my car right now, but have been craving redlines ever since I got a set of coco mats for my TR6 /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

I think the red lines look great because of the classic look for the TR6. The tread design on the Michelins just look so plain and non-sports car looking that most anything seems better (unless you compete in some kind of original typw show). These BFG's, because of that reason, look better than the OEM Michelins in my opinion. The OEM redline Goodyears still look the best.

A friend recently got a set of the Coker redlines -- he found that one of the local tire chains was able to get the tires from Coker, saving him on the total cost. Sorry I do not remember the cost with mount and balance but had the impression at the time 'not too bad'.

The tires I'm considering are the BF Goodrich redlines.

You may be refering to my posts that had to do with these tires and restoring my AR Silverstone Mags. These tires (205 65 R15)are great and superior handling compared to the old Michelins. The folks at Universal Tire ,near Hershey, are nice folks to deal with.
