Actually, it's another Ebay Triumph promotion that drew my attention. It's from Missouri, and reminds me of the saying, "It just sells itself." Well, sort of . . .

Someone put that TR through the wash, and it shrunk!
I personally like the slogan "If you think you hate it now, wait 'till you drive it."

(Just kidding...)

Ebay No. 270080909890 Sure does...especially if the buyer is clueless and takes no time to obtain a clue! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Nice to see a basically good-looking, ultra-early TR4, but some of the ad copy is just...amazing. I've heard all the legends about how Triumph assembled new cars, and apparently a few of them might be true. But somehow I really doubt that Triumph would have knowingly built a brand-new TR4 (almost all of which were 2138cc-engined) with a by-then nearly two-year-old TR3A 1991cc engine! I'd go on, but what's the point?

Hope a knowledgeable buyer can obtain and preserve the car...as well as his/her dignity and wallet! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
