Thanks everyone for answering all of my questions, and such! I finally made up my mind to go with a TR6, and bought a local one earlier today.

It's a 76 with overdrive... and I already feel like a LBC owner, because there is already an issue I need to troubleshoot! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thanks again!

Don't worry, there will be more. That's why we're all here.

Good luck with the new TR6 and keep us posted on your progress.

Congrats! TR6s are fun cars...pretty and muscular looking at the same time.

Enjoy, and don't hesitate to seek help from the many really smart Triumph experts here if you have questions.

Thanks, gents!

I think it's a carb issue. Lucky for me, a guy down the street knows these carbs like the back of his hand (he owns a TR4, a couple of Jensen Healey's, etc...) And he was nice enough to volunteer to take a look tomorrow.

Woot for friends in the right places!
