I have a 74 TR6 with 32,000 miles. The engine runs strong, no smoke, and has always been very well maintained. However, I have developed an occasional oil fouling problem on one plug. All others are clean. Is there a possible quick and dirty fix for this?

Are you sure it's oil or is the cylinder just not providing proper combustion occasionally causing the cylinder to run rich and turn the plug a wet or fluffy black color? A pic of the plug would probably be a big help. My guess as a quick fix and I mean only a guess would be a poor condition spark plug wire or dist. cap causing intermitent combustion if it's combustion. If definitely oil a compression test or a leak down test on that cylinder might give you an indication of what internal problem(s) there may be and in general is not a quick fix.(sorry)
