Sittin' here watchin' tropical storm Chris drenchin' the entire island. I guess nice cool heavy rain has got to be better than smokin' a$$ hot heat wave some have to endure.

Often, I get in the dumps that my TR died so quickly after my wife bought it. And how badly we got snookered by the PO.

But I have to look at the positive side. Hey!! One really great thing about my dead 1968/69 TR?? That pup gets some kinda fantastic mileage. I've owned it for almost 8 months now and still have not even used a single tank of gasoline!!

With the price of gas sometimes not being able to drive is a good thing. But its not true for driving a TR6. Have faith. You will crusing before you know it.

Current Can to US exchange is about 12% in your favor
Yes, we are sitting on as much oil as the Arabs but seem to always pay more /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pukeface.gif

While the TR3 is going thru it's work, I've been riding a Yamaha 125 Scooter. 86 miles to the gallon.

Riding it will make me feel safe when I start driving the Triumph again.
