I know it's not about a British bike, but did get some people riding Triumphs, etc.
I don't know how many of you remember this, but I sure do.
Reminds you that the '60's were a simpler time, when you could just "take off" with no plans,& work your way around the country.
It was, basicly,a TV show about a guy on a Harley, who went
on a trip around the US,working his way around, with no plans, etc.

Sorta like "Route 66" on a motorcycle.

And then, there was "Easy Rider" - same time period, different message...

Yeah, I saw "Bronson" on the Speed Channel a couple of months ago, a very good "B" movie.

Interesting how the big hog Harley Sportster wins the hill climb against far more agile dirt bikes, which, of course, would only happen in a B movie.

Fun movie to watch, though, especially the beautiful, young Bonnie Bedelia. I think Martin Sheen had about 15 seconds in there somewhere, too.

Fun flick!

"IN AMERICA ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.
AND THEN, SOME BUY HARLEYS!!"

Ah, Bonnie Bedelia...Temple Brooks, the runaway bride

Wan't she also the wife in "Die Hard"?

I've got a copy of a picture that says -
"Just Jim & his Harley".
Also have the 8 Track "Going Down That Long Lonesome -
