what I hope will be a long line of photos showing the complete restoration of "Jacob", the bug of many colors.

It has been setting here for 5 to 7 years just waiting for me to find and covet it.

Much thanks to Jollyroger for parting with one of his (no cancer) vehicles and passing it on to me.

Expect to pick it up in Jan sometime and start on what just might be a one or two year project as I expect to rework every nut bolt and screw. This will not be a show car but a new car.

Guess I also need to say thanks to all you folks who are so willing to share your experiences and tricks of the trade.

Wow oh wow, Merry Christmas to you and to me.

That little thing looks awfully comfortable & warm in its present location...but it sure does look like a good starting point!

Hah- it would take him about a week if he stopped trying to keep up with Jaybird's post count here! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

(nice looking find by the way - should be fun!)

That looks like a very nice project. Hope your one-or-two year project runs more smoothly than mine has (and still is).... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Good luck with it....
