Too bad somebody stripped the paint from the front end and then left the car out. Even so, if the surface rust is not too bad, the front valence looks very good. Same for the wings. Not much to go by for the rest. Of course I'm on the wrong coast. If I were closer, I'd be right on it.

I swear there is nothing sadder looking than a TR3 that wants to be restored

I want it. I wonder what it ends up going for-4K? I missed one up in the mountains by me for 900 a few months back. I am just a hopeless tr3 rescuer if the price is cheap. I use to pay 500.00 but now it is 5K! I wonder what is a reasonable offer is? Do I see Marv in that one picture.

Hard to tell from two pictures but without seeing it, 1k would be plenty, IMO. The amount of rust would be the big factor. No front suspension by the looks either, so it will be a pain to haul and who know what's there and not.
Tush, is that your latest? Looks good to me.

LOL John. I never really noticed how miserable they look in that state -almost the complete opposite as a shinny 'frog eyed' Sprite.

Steve, one in Johnstown, Pa (without a frame) -with only the doors/fenders/etc went for under $1K, so any offer is 'reasonable', if you're willing to haul it away "AND RESTORE" it. Mine was "free", as long as I promised to restore it.

Hi Tom
Yes, thatís the 59 project. Itís a Canadian car so itís very very rusty. Itís also had some very bad repairs done in its previous life. For example, the rusty inner sills had 2x4s screwed into them...this was under the very custom outer sills made out of old eves trough material.

I hope they used oak...when I use 2X4’s in a car I always go with oak.
