How to Search the Forums (return)

When you are in the main forum summary page, or any of the forums, you will find a "Search" link just under the "British Car Forum" title, as shown. Click this link to go to the search page where you can search all forum messages for specific text: Step 1 Step 2 Once in the seach area, enter the parameters you wish to search for. You can search all forums, or only specific forums. You can search the topics only or you can search entire messages. You can search by date and, if you know a member's user number, you can search for posts by certain members: Step 3 Depending on your search parameters, your search may take a few minutes...be patient. Step 4 When the search is complete, you will see a list of all the topics that meet your search criteria. Click on any of the topic links to be transported to that topic. Step 5 In addition to searching for forum topics that meet your criteria, you can also search our online index of British Car Magazine back issues. Click on the "Searchable Database" link near the top of the "British Car Magazine" forum, as shown: Step 6 Enter the search parameters you are interested in, then click the Search Articles button. Step 7 You will then be presented with a list of past articles that meet your search criteria.
