I bought my big Healey in June '95. To this day, I have not even bothered to take a single picture of it. A friend that found the car for me did snap a few shots when it first arrived still on the trailer. Is this a bad thing?

Yes, this is a bad thing and you will be haunted with "lost memory" when you grow older. Little did I know when I bought my BJ8 in '72 that I would still have the same Healey today. It was wrecked when I bought it and went through two color changes before I settled on going back to its original Golden Beige color. Back then there was only film cameras and film had to be sent in to be developed and the process was long, etc. There's absoultely no excuse not to be documenting your Healey and family today with digital cameras. Wish I had done a better job of it. Patrick

I wish I had taken about a million more pictures of my car when I bought it and disassembled it. I had no idea how valuable detail photos are. Oh well. I'm almost done now!

It's funny thing, but I document nearly everything I do on my own and other people's BMW M Rdstrs/Coupes (some 14,817 pictures @ http://www.rfdm.com/gallery/ as proof) but I have to really make a conscious effort to take pictures when working on my Healey. As for the film to digital revolution, I started BN6L-942's restoration on film and I'm still "finishing" it with digital pictures. No point in being in a hurry...

WA-HOO! I went digging to find the few pics my buddy took when I towed it to the shop. Found them. Only six pics, but at least I have them. He also took a dozen pics of my right hand drive Bugeye before I started stripping it down. It looks like a complete basketcase, but is straight and complete. Guess I could upload some pics and document a build. But that would take away from work on it. Hum, what a delima.
