Bibber,
It has been a tough week, but I have enjoyed every experience, especially spending the time with Mike. Tonight we are taking him up to see our new place in the Poconos before he heads back to Kadeena Wednesday morning, which means I get to drive to Philly Airport again this week.
Here are some photos from last night's Eagles-Cowboys game. We had seats in the upper level, but they were just off of the 50 yard line and the weather was beautiful. The game was not so beautiful.

Since one of Mike's friends was dating the Eagles Cheerleader on the cover of their calendar cover of their calendar this year, they seem much too young to be exciting anymore.

brooklands, im not much of a baseball fan but i did watch most of the games the yanks played this season because my wife is a big new york sports nut, watching the phillies play in the series showed the grit, scratch and claw, hard playing toughness of this team and we all should be very proud of them, if any team was to beat the yanks i would have been happy it was the phillies, other side of my fealings is that "padro" or any other individual that would toss an old man into the ground shouldnt win anything, believe me "padro" would never have done that if he had my "daddy".. nono, otherwise my hats off to the "phillies"... cheers

Thanks, I was truly proud of the Phillies all year. Interestingly, Don Zimmer stated recently that Pedro was in the right to stop him when he lost it and attacked him, and that he had apologized to Pedro because of his actions. At the time, I had despised Pedro too, but I had mellowed a few years ago on that situation. I still do not expect him to be with the team next year.
