Hi guys - almost ready to get my newly painted and re-bushed radius arms back in place and I have a quick (hopefully anyway) question for you.

When I removed the radius arms there were under some tension and once removed the diff "nosed down", so it appears that reinstalling them will require getting the diff level again.

Is that normal? Any tips how to do that/reinstall by myself?

Thanks guys!

Put the arms on the axle and just tug them by hand to meet the body.
A screwdriver real handy to stick in the hole to keep the arm in place helps too.
I can not recall if I had the pumpkin on a floor jack, maybe I did and when you tug on the arm, it moves.

I don't recall having any problems reinstalling the radius arms when I did mine, but it has been a while...

Make sure the rear suspension is not hanging off the straps when you put the radius arms back in place If you tighten everything down in that position, you'll overtorque the rubber bushings when the car settles to its ride height, leading to premature failure. Someone the forum posted this tip about the time I was rebuilding my 59BE, info I was glad to receive at the time
