It's a kit car anyway, but I don't know much about them... I know there was a Ranger kit car in Ontario a few years ago, is this it?

Gotta be some kind of Amphicar clone. Amphicars had the Triumph 1147 lump and the engine in the photo looks a bit like one.

My guess: Amphicar-esque-ish remake, kit car of some kind or an amateur rebuild of an Amphicar.

Next . . .??? confused

We have a cat named Nimrod... looks like a bowling ball with fur. About as likely to hunt as one, too. smirk

Friend of mine has an Australian Sheep dog that just barks for no particular reason...his name is Sprocket but I've been calling him 'Nimrod' for so long that he answers to it when I go over there. I call him that because, while he knows all the typical dog tricks, if he can overpower you with his barking, he'll not do them....when he wants to play, I make him lay down & roll over first....he tries to become the Alpha dog by barking so loudly that he thinks I'll give in & play...so, I call him 'Nimrod' and ignore him until he comes up & rolls over.

So does it need to be restored then? I know I'd love to hear more... But then I like unusual things...

I'd love to hear more about it, Pat. Where did you find it? I swear there was one on eBay recently -- I'm always looking at RHD cars, and one came up.

Wow, The Nimrod Owners Club. Who'd a thunk?

Is your secret helper one of the girls in Jupp's pictures? laugh

I like it! Yes, more info/updates please!

......then again, I'm sitting up at 3 AM, bored out of my mind with a killer sinus infection, so maybe I'm not the best judge grin
