We are starting to get more confidence in our work. Took the B out today for a little longer ride. Stopped to take some pictures of him outside the garage.

Our MGB's first real trip outdoors in 2 years

Very Nice.
Love those wheels, in fact, I used to have a set of them.
Now just calm down on that TR thing.

A little further today! We've got almost twenty miles on it now. Went to the store and it started when we came out to go home. Another test passed.
We are have some issues with it flooding when we park it and not wanting to restart. Could this still be the carbs out of adjustment?

Also, gas gauge doesn't work. I checked all connections to the gauge and they seem fine. ?? The gauge worked on the other car, but remember I transferred the whole kit and kaboodle over to the new body.

For now I know it has gas because we just filled it up and I'm sure it gets better than 20 miles to a tank, but sure would like to know how much gas I have.

Check a ground on that guage (is it the only thing not working?).....you've got that Weber on there & it's probably not set up correctly for that engine.

Tony,
Nothing has been correctly set up for this engine. The ground is connected. It appears fine.
Another hitch...It starts easily on the first turn of the key until it gets warm. Once it's warm if we shut it off it floods on restart until it's cool again.

Tony's opinion: toss that Weber & get a set of HIF-4's! All your fuel-related problems will go away.

So, what's the best quote you can give me on a set of HIF-4's?
