My wifes 1996 Buick Century's brakes just went to the floor,no sqealing of wear from pads no obvious leaks any ideas?

Be sure of no leaks. Some aren't obvious at first. Could have just blown a flex line (one to each front wheel plus one to rear axle).

Also, might be wheel cylinder.

Put brake fluid in it and have someone pump brakes while looking for leaks.

If no obvious leaks, then yeah, probably by-passing in master cylinder.
