I am trying to identify a NOS British Leyland part I have. it is part #607693 It is called a pea box assembly. I don't have the right setup to post a picture so I will include a ebay number so you can see it. I would love to know what this fits. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I would say it's the brush holder off something like a lucas acr alternator with the slip rings on the end of the shaft rather than on the side- model no idea,but may jog someones elses memory
