Hi
I have just started restoring a 1950 Standard Vanguard.I have always liked these
Standerd cars which were sold in a fair quantity in Canada and the rest of the world aside from the U.S.A. ( from 1949-51 a 130 were imported to U.S.A.)
However they were much of a stem cell to the T.R.2 as the Falcon was to the
Mustang. The car I am working on has been in inside storage for most of it's life with only 16,000 miles on it. We drove it around the block with the original tires on it.I would like to here from anyone else who is working on one of these cars

Welcome!

I'm sure you'd be welcome in the Triumph forum too (we have several TR2 owners and many, many TR3 owners in that forum).

I lived in Toronto as a kid. Just off Danforth Ave. Still one of my favourite cities.

Howdy Kem,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best Brit Car Forum you`ll find anywhere. But, I suppose you already know that!!

As previously mentioned; We all would love to see pics of your car. I for one just can`t seem to recall what it looks like??????

That could be due to "Age" but "Not"!!

Have Fun Here,

Regards, Russ
