robert_ellison Jedi Hopeful Registered: 12/24/06 Posts: 199 Loc: Iowa, U.S.	can anyone tell me how to test a fuel tank float? Either the gauge is defective or the float. I'm trying to narrow it down and not just buy them both. There is current in the line to the float.

Michael Oritt Jedi Knight Registered: 06/28/01 Posts: 1499 Loc: Solomons, MD, USA	Robert-- Pull the float assembly out of the tank and conect an ohmmeter across the contacts. Randy Forbes Luke Skywalker Registered: 02/16/03 Posts: 1782 Loc: Ohio	If you ground the sending unit wire to the chassis, you should see "full" on the gauge.
