To take this:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1427673853.html

and remove the drivetrain and put it all into a Midget that needed a new power train?

I mean, this is all set up already, nothing to figure out except how to adapt newer tech batteries...

I don't know - sounds like fun to me. wink

We had a Renault Le Car once that was a run around town car for Jerri...she loved it....think I'd keep it electric....it's gotta be a rare bird.

I don't know. It depends on how long ago the conversion to electric was. There's been a number of improvements on controllers and such. Someone in the San Fran area took a rubber bumpered Midget and made it electric.

I think what would be really cool would be to design a hybrid conversion. Figure out how to put a small motor driving a generator and a keeping electric power to battery packs.

Prof. Gadget (the guy on Discovery channel) has converted a bunch of cars.... His daily ride is an electric Spitfire.
