I'm thinking about selling our Cortina.I found
another car I want, but something needs to go first.
I've rebuilt almost everything engine,transmission,
brakes,clutch,etc.).It still needs a couple of things.
It's a 1967 GT 2 door,high top dash,1500 engine.
This is a MKII,w/MKI mechanicals. It has the cool dash,
with the toggle switches. The best of the MKII's.
I've got a little over $6500 into it,but don't
know what it's worth to someone else.

Yeah, but for what you're waiting, you'll need lots of prayers!

Well,it doesn't look like anyone's interested.
Maybe I should have bought a more "popular" car.

Is this a hint as to the model of car you're interested in buying?

Gordon Thorburn, the British author of the book “Men and Sheds,” explained that the word shed derived from the Anglo-Saxon “scead,” or shade. It was, in a metaphorical sense, obscure, an “intellectual pantry” or “spiritual home” where a man could reflect and dawdle with tools and toys.

kinda makes you an entry-level "greenhorn" in this bunch, Doug!!! <grin>

And I'm certain you can't really be talking about buying "a" Yugo. They don't come in singles anymore, do they?

<grin>

The Cortina's still for sale.I'm still torn on my options -
should I buy another car,or get the '60 Anglia going for next year?
It'll be 50 years old in April.
Desicions..........Decisions.

Fun decisions, though.

So a question: what British cars do you have now that are in running order? I'm a fan of one project at a time, myself.

Oh, I love having multiple projects going on at the same time.....while I'm waiting on parts or evaluating things on one projecr, I can switch over to another.....right now, I'm trying to fab an electric in-tank fuel pump for my Corvette so while I'm thinking through my course of action, I'll finish installing the radiator in my '63 Midget.

Your advantage, Tony, is that you also have a few cars you can drive! I've only got space for just the one... grin
