Hello all you British car lovers. I found this site through Steve Byers. Looks like it will be a great resource. I currently own a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII, BJ8. Bought it used, 7000 miles on it, on December 13 (Friday!), 1968. I'm still in love with it. Basically stock, with Minilite wheels being the only outward change in appearance. Selected my member name b/c I happen to think the SR71, known as a Sled by the people who flew/maintianed it, is the most amazing plane ever built. Just my humble opinion. Looking forward to conversing with you all.

Welcome, Jim!!!

I knew one of the Sled jocks who retired here locally and got to take photos of the thing back in the early '70's as a USAF still photo weenie.

I'll assume you've read "Sled Driver". wink

Enjoy your new toy, be a participant here, too!!!

cheers
