Hello my name is Scott and I am a Triumphaholic.
It all started when I was 17 and bought a used Spitfire 1500.
My father commented that Triumphs had two seats so you could take your mechanic with you, easier to get back home that way.
I grew older, got married, sold the spit, thought I was cured. Everytime I saw an LBC, I would get an urge to get another Triumph.
FFW 10 years and I finally gave in and bought a 70 Spit Mk3, spent the next 7 years driving it in the summer and refurbishing in the winter. In the intervening period I picked up a 69 Spit Mk3, stored it in a barn for 5 years occasionally robbing parts from it.
This September I brought the 69 home with the intention of restoring it. No problem, two car garage, 69 on one side 70 on the other, what could go wrong? It was my intention to worry about my wife parking in the garage once the snow arrived.
Best laid plans... within two weeks of bringing the 69 home, I find a 74 TR6 I simply must have.
Of course I bought the TR6, 69 Spit on one side of my garage TR6 on the other and the 70 Spit in my Mother's garage.
I finally have to admit I have an addiction and have come here for help.
Whadda you mean thats like going to the "Crack House" for rehab???
Scott

No Problem with your addiction. We'll be glad to help. You'll be so badly addicted, there will be no cure. Then the money you save on therapy can go into other LBCs. From anther Ontarian, hello and welcome to the best place on the 'Net for British car info. If you post a question, check bad soon and frequently as answers are fast and furious. Dave P.S. Introduce yourself to the Triumph forum. They love addicts!

Glad your on the forum, you'll have a great time here. Had a 74 TR-6 in college, loved it. Traded it for a porsche, Regretted not having the open top. Wish i had it back. There're getting up there, Hope you got a good deal on it. Welcome !!

Howdy Scott,
"Welcome Back" to the "Wonderful World of LBCs!!
As you already know; Once you`ve bitten the bait; Your "Hooked" for Life!
I`m quite a "Triumph" fan myself. Owned 2-TR3s, TR4 & 4A-IRS, 2-TR6s & currently own a `59 Bugeye & may have found my TR2/3 Project.
Hey Man, Post some pics of your "Stable" as we all "LOVE" pics!
Have Fun,
Russ
