I'm very happy with my Braille. I keep a trickle charger on it when stored. During a long and or hot race weekend it gets a little tired and may require some additional juice. http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?tpc=Br...action=categoryDougie

I use a Hawker PC 545 20 Ah battery. Neat little thing and strong enough to start the engine.
Cheers Chris

I like the no weight batteries, the CCA are high enough for non charging set up, and at 150ish, that about the same as a Optima but alot lighter.

...... ", and at 150ish, " that about the same as a Optima but alot lighter. What does this mean "150ish"?

I recently bought a 9 pound Braille to replace the marine cased lead acid battery that currently occupies the passenger floor instead of a seat. The lighter 6.5 pound battery was not rated for use at temps below 60 degrees F and around Central NY thats won't cut it. I don't understand the carbon fiber option....the battery is the same weight as the non-carbon fiber so it's a lot of money to pay for the "cool" look.
