Greetings from the nw corner of Washington state. A long time British car fanatic (?) I currently have two in the garage, a '67 Austin Mini and a '53 Armstrong-Siddeley Sapphire which will be posted for sale in the classified section shortly. I used to have a '68 Ford Cortina. I am a commercial truck insurance underwriter.
Thanks for having me!
Craig

Howdy Craig,

"Welcome" to the BCF. What the heck is an "Armstrong-Siddeley Sapphire"?

Nevermind; I just looked at your ad in the classified. Interesting car you have there. Our fearless leader may have an interest in her???

Regards, Russ

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I can virtually assure you that you would be the only kid on your block to have one.

You can "google" Armstrong-Siddeley and get some pretty short and concise history on the marque. They quit making cars in 1960 after being purchased by Rolls-Royce who mainly wanted their aero engine business. Did you ever hear of Hawker-Siddeley aircraft?
