Hey, Mike, and welcome to the BCF!

You might want to post this on the Triumph section for more visibility.

Hey Mike,

I'm looking to do exactly the same to my 76 TR6 engine. I'm either going GP2 cam and triple Stromberg, or supercharger. Let me know what you find out!

Best regards,

Mike Roe

I am in the process of building a TR6 engine. I'm using an Isky Z-19 cam, triple Strombergs/cold air box, header. Compression will be in the area of 9.5-1 with the head ported and polished. It is bored 30 over, with the rods lightened, Everything will be balanced along with the lightened flywheel. I figure to get in the area of what you want.
If you purchase Kas Kastner's Competition Manuals and Roger Williams, "How to Improve Triumph TR5, 250 & 6", you should have most of the information in hand to lead you to making the decisions toward what you want.
Good luck.

That is a pretty significant amount of power for these engines, especially the upper range you listed.

The following has some good information as well.

Welcome BTW.

Well, thanks Ken, but I haven't gotten around to dyno testing mine yet, but I'm sure that I won't achieve the numbers that Mike wants to get. "Maybe" the 150, but no more than that, at least not at the rear wheels.

Mike, welcome to the forum. If you follow down the left side of each web page, you will see every step of my engine rebuilding process.
