I just purc purchased a 1970 Innocennti Mini with oversized Minilite wheels. The front wheels have a significant negative camber, I think, because of this. There isn't any wear on the outside of the front tires!!

I would like to add adjustable lower a-arms to the car to correct this. Looking at the MossMotors website, (part #115-015)I see that they are indeed, adjustable, however, it doesn't state if you can add positive camber OR negative camber with these. I would like to keep these wheels because they fill out the wheel arches nicely, and I like the aggressive look.

Does anyone out there have experience with these a-arms? Can you add positive camber with them, or are these only to add negative camber?

While I am happy that Moss is selling Mini parts in the U.S., there are other sources for these parts, both here and in the U.K. In NY, don't forget you have Mini City. If they don't have the parts, you will be hard pressed to receive parts faster or cheaper than from MiniSpares in the U.K.

For example, visit Minispares.com and look up their part numbers: C-AJJ3360 & C-AJJ3360A (58 and 70 GBP respectively... $100 and $120 at today's exchange rate).

I believe you'll find the first set of arms is probably the same as the Moss part, the second is a more 'high-end' arm. For a street car, don't be tempted to go for the rose joints (spherical bearings) that come with the C-AJJ3360A arms. The rubber bushings will give you a more compliant suspension and longer life on the street. Both these arms (and presumably Moss's also) will allow adjustment for both positive and negative camber. (However, I have no experience with these arms... I'm just repeating the literature).
