Hello guys:

I'm normally on the Spridget discussion site. But, am looking to add an MGB to small herd of LBC's. There's a red 71 MBG on ebay for $17K. It's near my office, so I'm going there today. It sure seems expensive compared to other B's.
Just don't know this market as well as Austin Healey Sprites (expecially BugEyes). So, what do you think.

thanks for your help.

Or low mileage and practically factory original to garner that kinda cash.

Well, just got back from driving it. Good suspension/handling. Sure not "factory original". Paint, maybe 7 out of 10. Hood seams, trunk seams, and door seams are not symetrical. "Clunk" noise in rear either loose wire wheel caps or differential. No sale.

Was that the one at St Louis Car museum? It looked "cleaned up it did not look like a "nut and bolt rotisserie restoration" as advertised.

Now bob67gt's primrose B or the midnight blue B on ebay might be worth that and then some. Those two look like they would be worth a road trip to NC for that kind of investment.

I've only seen his stuff in pics and it sure looks like top shelf work.

Sounds a little high to me, unless it's a show winner. JMHO. PJ

I've seen Bob's work first hand as he used to reside in my hometown.
First Class, almost doesn't cover, well enough, the quality of his cars!
If you want an MGB, see BOB.

JMHO

agree

One can only imagine the cost in materials and time he has in his creations.
Did I mention I really like that little yellow car?
