My brother came across a MkI headed for the scrap yard. The owner is letting him take anything I can use before it goes. What parts or bits should I grab other than the obvious ones - and no, the whole thing is not a possibility! LoL Any obscure clips, brackets, etc. that may be unobtanium but may still be on the car? I don't have any info like year, etc. Looking for your suggestions. Thanks!

You ought to get any fog lites, taillites, chrome strips, skirts, wood?

I could use a steering wheel and horn button (always wanted a 4-spoke on my MK2)

M/Cyls for rebuilding, as cores seem non-existant.
Same for booster.

Wire wheels or steel?
What engine?

Looking for bolt-on Daytons (to try out), 2.4L spare carbs.

Starter?
Generator?
Door handles?
Window cranks?
Wiper arms and motor?
Center dash with gauges, switches, etc?

Overdrive?
Trans would be GOOD for someone.

Why not grab the whole thing & strip it at your leisure?

I need a MK-1 grille and bumper overriders if they are good. Send pictures with price.

Sorry guys....car was picked over really well and basically dissolved from the middle of the doors down....my brother scored the auto tranny for himself and the windows for me - my rear window shattered. Really nothing else was left - although I MAY be getting the diff. too.....
