I aborted my morning commute until I can investigate. Rolling slow and I hear a scraping type noise. U-joint? Maybe I drove over something and its stuck on the drive shaft...... walshja Jedi Warrior Registered: 06/14/08 Posts: 447 Loc: guilford, ct	My wife took my car out last week, and called me on the way home, she pulled over because there was a loud noise coming from the front drivers wheel. I hopped in my car, and met her on the side of the road, took the wheel off and the brake dust shield had bent a little and was rubbing against the brake rotor, making a horrible noise. she claims she did not run anything over, that the noise just started happening. So a little push on the brake shield and problem solved. jvandyke Bronze Member Luke Skywalker Registered: 12/08/06 Posts: 1726 Loc: Hudsonville, Michigan, USA	I can't see anything wrong. Jacked up the rear and spun the wheels, nothing. Pumped in a bit more oil in the differential but at very low speed, in 1st (can't detect in reverse) you hear this slow "scrape" in revolutions, like an engine turning over VERY slowly. It matches the ground speed. Can't detect at normal speeds. I guess I'll just monitor it and drive on.
