I am planning to add a isolated accessory plug to plug in a Navigator or Radar Detector or Phone recharger. While looking around where to put it, I discovered there was one in the bottom of my heater box. I assume somebody added that, right? Was there any factory installation? if so where? This one is not connected nor would it work with my positive ground system. (1960 BN7)

As best I can recall, lighters were never installed from the factory in any of the several dozen Healeys I prepped when they came in from the port. ISTR that that was true for all of the LBC's, BMC, Leyland, Rootes, Triumph. They all had to be installed by the dealer. Radios, too.

Mothers know absolutely nothing about cars.---Keoke-- Good thing my Mum won't see this, you'd get thumped about the head and shoulders with a large spanner for uttering words like that. My Mum can wrench with the best of them.
