I think I'd like to have the cam covers to put on my J-H. I've wondered why Lotus didn't want to do that, and why J-H didn't insist on it?

How about a disassembled 907 on the hood of a Studebaker?

And Dale...you don't like the JH covers?

Not that I don't like them, I just think the Lotus name would be cool. J-H wanted every one to know their engine was a Lotus, so why didn't they put it on the valve covers? Or, was Lotus not willing to do that?

I think it was just a branding item. Jensen also did that on the interceptors, and they were american engines.

Given some of the problems with the early engines, maybe Lotus thought being discrete was a good idea....

My J-H was a "factory car" used by them for a couple years after it was made and then sold to the public in 1975, but they replaced the engine just before the sale with a later one.
