Wondering if anybody out there has any idea of a value on a 1950 Rover 75 model p4 cyclops. 4 door sedan. 1 of 2 sold in America in 1950 from the Earls court Motor show in New York.
Can send pics, interior is original, good shape, exterior is in good shape and in primer. Thanks

Wow, something that rare and unusual? It's a tough estimate on something like this, because there is simply nothing to compare it to over here. My best guesstimate would be $15K to $20K. Painted? Maybe 3-5 more?

I need some additional input here, any more suggestions?

Thank you for the help, it has been very hard to find a value, or any info on the car. I know there is one in a museum over seas, and that they called it a Cyclops because it had 3 headlamps, the center lamp was removed for the U.S. market. This particular car was in the Earls Court Motor show.
The engine runs!

My Uncle Ted, of Tunbridge Wells don't y'know, was a banker in the City and ran one of those Rovers. I thought it was luxury, but I was only about 11 or 12 at the time. His was a '53, so had only 2 headlights.
Those P4s were in production for about 15 years in various models (horsepowers).

So is anyone actively bidding on this...I'd consider
tossing a couple pence on it but do not want to conflict
with another BCF'er if interested..........

I would if I had a place for it! It's on my watch list, though, for curiosity's sake.

I know it's long since past the time when it might have helped, but here is a listing for virtually the same car for 1250 pounds.
