OK - I know it's a couple months away, but is ANYone going?

I hope to show up,Mickey. But it depends on my new passport arriving in time for me to get back to Louisiana by February. At present I'm in New Zealand,so Happy New Year from "down under".

Getting closer! I'm having a spare boot lid painted to match the TR8, and it will have a luggage rack for travel. Ice chest for bringing shrimp and crab home will be in the boot. The rack will handle two large backpacks for clothes 'n such.

That sounds like "work" to me,Mickey.
All I'm going to do is wash the Midget,and dig out the picnic basket.

Yep...we're going...bringing the big Jag...let's build a convoy....we can meet up at the Cracker Barrel at Exit 310 in Cullman, AL, eat breakfast & hit N'Awlins around 2pm or so.

Okay - Mickey's leaving Clarksville, TN around 5 or 6am Thursday, March 19; I'm leaving Gurley, AL a short time later....& we're meeting at the Cracker Barrel off I-65 at Exit 310 (Cullman, AL) around 8am...then I-65 south to Birmingham, then I-59 across Alabama thru Mississippi & into Louisiana....finally I-10 into N'Awlins....gonna run around 70mph.....our Motorola walkie talkies will be set to channel 8.

Who's joining our convoy?

I plan on going. Looks like fun.

I'll be convoying across the causeway with a friend whose bringing his Morris Minor truck. He can only go 50mph...so we may be late.
