Ah, but there's nothing like the high from a NEW tool.... But, James, some of them looked 'brand new' Not that kind of new, though it's satisfying in its own way, too... the new-ness of never-seen-before, how's-that-thing-work, what's-it-for kind of new. Particularly if it excites the that's-a-clever-trick reaction... You know, all the gizmos that sometimes get used once and then live at the back/bottom of the tool drawer....

The beauty of "cheap" tools is that if you need to cobble up a special tool, you aren't using up one of your "good" tools. I do it all the time...

Good score Tony! I got my monthy tool fix on Friday when a friend gave me an arbor press that he didn't have room for. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and he lives in Kansas.
