I got my coupon from HF, and it took all I had not to go down there and by a spot welder. I figure I should get the kids and GF some gifts for xmas instead of wrapping up a spot welder for me. smile

Not that kind of new, though it's satisfying in its own way, too... the new-ness of never-seen-before, how's-that-thing-work, what's-it-for kind of new. Particularly if it excites the that's-a-clever-trick reaction...

You know, all the gizmos that sometimes get used once and then live at the back/bottom of the tool drawer.... devil

Or were too pretty to pass by & now they just cause you to have to buy a tool box extension (like I just did)...sometimes we have to buy them, James, just to feed our habit, right?

The beauty of "cheap" tools is that if you need to cobble up a special tool, you aren't using up one of your "good" tools. I do it all the time...

Stopped by the same pawn shop today & picked up 14 Craftsman wrenches for $10.00.

Good score Tony! I got my monthy tool fix on Friday when a friend gave me an arbor press that he didn't have room for. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and he lives in Kansas.
