I have a 6 cylinder austin head with patent no #565394 part #610114 is that enough information to match parts. It came off a 63 4ltr austin engine. I have many austin engine parts from the 50's 60's and would like to see if any would match your cars thanks Rockman

Four (4) litre Austin engines were used in Princess (and Jensen 541R & 541S) models. The Healeys used a 2.6 litre (100/6) and 2.9 litre (3000) inline six (6) cylinder engine.

looks like these engines are not in big demand as only 120 541R were made and most of the Austin princesses are now running GM engines.
What about parts someone said the head was the same could that be true.

It's been quite a long time since I took a good look at one (30+ years), but I seem to remember that it was a physically larger engine. Likely only the distributor would interchange.

But hey, I've been wrong before...
