Here's cool one.

The Swandean Spitfire Special (which was one of four "20+ liter cars" displayed at Pebble Beach last week).

Other big-engined cars on display included:
~The only long-chassis 200 hp “Blitzen” Benz
~A custom Rolls-Royce car modified to fit a 27-liter Rolls-Royce Merlin aircraft engine (from a P-51 fighter).
~Jay Leno's "tank car" with a 30 liter Chrylser V12.

Goodgawd... wouldn't it just torque itself into a pretzel?!?!

...or maybe a licorice stick in this case... WOW. shocked

Tho' I guess it'd be "traction limited" with those old bladders on it. Wipe th' tread off'n 'em in ten seconds or less. Incredible.

Oh, that's just SWELL.

A 20-foot long british car, and I STILL couldn't fit in the bloody thing.
