Like 95 and 99 percent humidity with no breeze at all. Instant wet shirts and sweat running down the glasses.

Out to the garage for 5 min then inside for an hour.

Am finaly fitting my seats, hate doing that. Glue glue glue.

Hot, humid and hazy with a chance of afternoon and evening thundershowers. The typical southern summer forecast. It's been a typical weekend.

Jack, you need to take miss agatha up to visit me in the summer. highs here are normally in the 80s and lows in the 50s. It was 49 degrees thursday morning for the motorcycle ride in to work. If it get too hot I can jump on the parkway and in 30 min be at the top of mt pisgah and it will be at least 15 degrees cooler than here and its perfect for a spridget drive. Smooth federal roads with 45mph speed limit and plenty of nice curves and tunnels and pretty views from the car at every turn. I was dying in MO with that heat. I could not drink enough beer to get over that heat laugh

Funny you should say that. I have been thinking about maybe comming that way and renting a place for a month next summer.

How far are you from Asheville.

I can hit it with a rifle Jack. About 1 mile from the city limit, 9 miles from the Downtown. I live in Arden, just south of town. Lived here all but the 5+ years in the Air Force.

Pretty warm here in SoCal, too, but not humid, at least. Took the Bugeye out for a spin, still sweated through when I got home. It's warm in that cockpit!

One thing I love about the Bugeye: its heater is ON by default. You pull out the control to turn it off. Says a lot about the country it came from.

Does it not have a valve under the hood on the head that you can cut off the hot water?

If you guys do make that rendezvous, let me know. My brother has a place in Hickory. I could meet up with you for a drive.
