Does anybody know where I can find original 100 M cam specs or the cam timing chart showing inlet open,inlet close, exhaust duration, ect, ect? Maybe Sir Dave Russell would have the information?? Thank you, in advance for all your help!

These are the original specs for the 100M cam. Some cam grinders specs vary a bit on what they call their 100M cam. I doubt that it makes much difference.

Lift at valve with 1.45 rocker ratio & 0.021" checking lash = 0.420".
IO 16 deg. BTDC IC 50 deg. ABDC
EO 45 deg. BBDC EC 15 deg. ATDC

Duration intake = 246 deg. dur. exhaust = 240 deg.
Overlap = 31 deg. LCA = 106 deg.

You didn't ask, but, this cam & lifters are quite highly stressed, a bit short on lubrication, & should be ground on a very high quality blank. Cam & especially lifters should be guaranteed hardness tested to RC58 or better.

I don't feel that cams for this particular engine should be a cheap regrind on an old blank.

I have a DW cam/roller rocker assembly in my 100--the specs are:

Rocker rocker arm ratio: 1.48:1
IO 26 deg. BTDC, IC 73 deg. ABDC
EO 63 deg. BBDC, EC 17 deg. ATDC

It IS a bit lumpy at idle but makes whacking good power.

I have the DWR1 cam in my engine minus the roller rockers. With a compression ratio of 9.8:1, there is a slight torque gain at 2,000 rpm & a very noticeable gain up to 6,000 rpm.

The idle is steady at 1,000 rpm with a 13 pound flywheel.

Warning:
Running above 5,000 rpm not recommended without appropriate crankshaft, rod, piston, flywheel, & front damper changes.
