Hi all,
I am hoping that a member of the forum who is in Italy can offer some support to a couple of my friends who are visiting their country.
Bob Nesbit & Marilyn Gay are AH folk who are visiting Italy on their way to the International Rally in Sweden.
Unfortunately Bob has been taken seriously ill in Domodossola, which I believe is in Northern Italy.
He is in hospital in good hands, but Marilyn is finding it difficult coping due to her inability to speak Italian.
If anybody would care to contact me I will let Marilyn know and I am sure this would be appreciated.

Thanks everybody for your responses. The latest news is that a medical team is on the way from Australia and Bob will be flown home by the end of the week.
Marilyn has received a lot of help from the Australian Embassy and their travel insurance company.
She was finding it hard not having a friend to talk to.

Wish I could help, but Arizona's a long way from Italy. At least I can send my positive car vibes.

As an aside... a friend of mine had a similar problem in Italy a few years ago and was 'very' impressed with the Italian medical care.... hope all is going well!
