I installed the OD wire Harness and was wondering is it typically run over the top of the tranmission, under it or to the side? Not sure where if any wire clips go once it gets into teh tunnel area.

Any insights would be appreciated. OD does work and I look forward to getting the linkage just right so it kicks in and out as designed.

Michael.

Hello Michael,
The set up for my BJ8 is the black overdrive wire runs along the left top/side through one P clip. The P clip is held in place by one of the left center transmission tunnel top plate bolts.

Dissclaimer to being concours. This is how the PO had done mine.

Hopefully other BN1 owners will tell you how your model is wired. (Maybe with a P clip).

Happy Healey motoring.

Over the top, a P clip under the head of one of the side cover set screws locates the harness.
